Tanssitunneilla aloitamme myös joulusesongin tanssit jo marraskuussa, jotta lapset ehtivät oppia ne ennen joulutaukoa tanssista. Soihdut sammuu- ja muita klassikkolaululeikkejä voi sitten tanssia joululomalla kotonakin. Tänä vuonna talviset aiheet on helppo aloittaa, kun lunta ei tarvitse kuvitella, vaan pienet voivat nähdä lumisateen, ja kokea lumen ihan itse. Nautitaan lumesta ja joulun odotuksesta ja harjoitellaaan lumisateen tanssimista kauniisti sormilla!
I wrote about the performance called the Ghost on a Washing Line. Now the same composer who wrote the The Ghost on a Washing Line, has published a new christmas songs-album with Tuula Korolainen. The reviews have been very positive. I find it wonderful that new music is written for children!

In the dance classes we´ll begin the christmas season dances already in November. The children need time to learn the dances well before our little christmas break. It is easy to dance old classics like Soihdut sammuu at home as well during the holidays.
This year it us easy to begin the wintry themed dances. One doesn´t have to imagine snow, the children can see the snow flakes and experience the snow themselves. Let´s keep enjoying the snow and the anticipation of Christmas time, and let´s practise dancing the snowflakes coming down with our own fingers, beautifully!
