Taaperoiden kevätnäytös on tanssittu! Helteisenä sunnuntaina 1-2-vuotiaitten ryhmä aikuisineen tanssi vilvoittavan kokonaisuuden" Läiskytellen", jonka valmistumisesta olen kertonut tässä blogissa.
Tanssi sujui upeasti, kuviot ja askeleet sujuivat kommelluksitta, ja lapset olivat hienosti mukana. Toki yksi pieni vaelteli näyttämön takaosassa, mutta hänkin tuli mukaan tanssin edetessä. Kaikista nuorin tanssijamme piipahti aina välillä verhoissa rauhoittumassa äitinsä sylissä. Äidit hoitivat esiintymistilanteen rauhallisesti ja hyväntuulisesti, joten kiitos kuuluu heille - hehän ovat tällaisessa jännittävässä tilanteessa ns. mukauttaja tai suodatin lapsen uudelle kokemukselle.
Äidit eivät ainoastaan keskittyneet esiintymään itse, vaan he myös vastasivat lapsen ensimmäisestä näyttämökokemuksesta. Tämä vaatii aikuiselta intensiivistä läsnäoloa ja kykyä itsehallintaan poikkeuksellisessa tilanteessa. Ulkopuolisista kaikki näyttää helpolta ja sujuvalta, mutta tällaiseen onnistumiseen tarvitaan monia valmistavia hetkiä.
Sen taas huomasimme, että kenraaliharjoitusta lapset eivät kaipaa, koska tanssittuaan tanssin kerran läpi he olisivat valmiita siirtymään jo seuraavaan aiheeseen. Tanssin toistaminen harjoittelumielessä ei luonnollisestikaan kuulu näin pienen lapsen hahmottamiseen ja ajatteluun.
He elävät" täysillä hetkessä" - myös esityksessä.
The spring performance for toddlers is over! On a very hot Sunday the children and their parents danced a cooling dance called "Let´s slosh or Let´s splash the water".
The dance went very well, the dance forms and patterns and steps were excecuted with grace, and the children danced well along the adults. One of the toddlers wandered around at back of the stage first, but joined the others later on. The youngest of our performers took little pauses from the dance by stepping out to the curtains and was calmed down in her mother´s secure lap. The mothers handled the performing situation with utmost calm and with high spirits. So my greatest thanks go naturally to them - they are like a filter for their childrens´ new experience.
The mothers were not only concentrating in dancing by themselves, but also took responsibility for their child´s stage experience. This all requires ability to be present intensively and self control in an exceptional situation. The outsiders probably find this all easy and fun, but to be able go through the whole performing day takes time and preparation.
Once again I noticed the toddler age performers don´t need any dress rehearsal, because after they h danced the dance once they were ready to move on to the next exercise. Repeating the same thing again and again for the sake of practising is not a part of toddlers´thinking or behaviour .
The children still live in moment - also in performing situation.
