Tämä äitienpäivä meni tanssin parissa, ohjaten isompia lapsia kevätnäytöksessä. Taaperoiden kevätnäytös on vasta tulossa, kuten aikaisemmin kerroin. Tanssin harjoittelu etenee mainiosti, onhan suurin osa taaperoiden vanhemmista itsekin tanssin harrastajia. Askeleet menevät rytmissä, ja aikuiset itse ovat tarkkoja paikoista ja liikkeiden suunnista, joten tanssista on tulossa upea ihan perinteisestä tanssinäkökulmastakin katsottuna.
Viime kerralla pidimme pukuharjoitukset, ja harjoittelimme pois peilistä, ikään kuin olisimme näyttämöllä. Teimme myös viime hetken korjauksia koreografiaan. Todellinen taiteellinen työprosessi käynnissä.... Toivottavasti kaikki ovat viettäneet ihanan äitienpäivän - ehkä vähän tanssienkin niin kuin minä.
I spent this Mothers` Day at a dance performance with older dance students. The annual spiring show for toddlers is coming in two weeks. The performance practise goes really well, most of the toddlers´parents are dancing themselves as their hobby. All the steps are done in the right rhytm and the places are found and combinations are done smoothly. One can only say that the performance will be wonderful even from the traditonal point of view.
Last week we had a costume rehearsal, ja the dancers performed away from the mirror in the dance room, as is they were already on stage. We also did some last minute correction with the choreography. It truly is an artistic work in process...
I hope everybody had a nice Mothers´ Day today - perhaps some of you even danced a litte like myself.
