Tanssivat lehdet - Dancing leaves

Kun katsot yllä olevaa lehteä, kuvittele lehden varsi pienen 1- tai 2- tai 3-vuotiaan käteen. Viimeisen kuukauden aikana olemme tanssineet syyslehtien kanssa taaperotanssitunnilla.  Voi olla vaikeaa uskoa, että näin pienet todella tanssivat oman tanssin lehtien kanssa.  Aloitamme istuen lehti kädessä,  heiluttamamme lehteä musiikin mukaan ilmassa tehden suuria kaaria tai viivoja, voimme myös tehdä muotoja lattiaan, millainen ääni kuuluu? Lähdemme tanssimaan omilla jaloilla tehden kaaria lehdellä, keinuen, antaen lehden viedä meidät pyörimisliikkeeseen, myös ylös ja alas. Olemme opetelleet lehden pudottamista, ja "pudonneet" alas lattialle lehden perässä. Voitte kuvitella mikä mieletön liikespektaakkeli on ollut meneillään, kun lahdet ja lapset ja aikuiset ovat vuorotellen putoilleet  ylhäältä alas.  Tätä ei usko kukaan näkemättä, olen silloin olen ajatellut mielessäni.

Syyslehti- tanssi on luovaa tanssia parhaimmillaan, sopii aikuisille ja lapsille ja aihe on läsnä kun vain kurkistaa ulos.  Tanssitunnilla tanssitaan lehtien kanssa, ja kotona jatketaan tanssia ja hypitäänkin lehtikasoihin, kuten yksi äiti minulle kertoi

Take a look at the leaf above and imagine a child age one, two or three years, holding it.  During the last month we´ve been dancing with the autumn leaves at the toddlers´ dance lessons.  It might be a little bit hard to believe that the young ones really dance their own dance with the leaves.  We begin by sitting on the floor holding a leaf in one hand, we wave the leaf  making curves or lines in the air accompanied by beautiful music.  We can also make movements by drawing shapes on the floor with the leaves, what kind of sound can you hear? 
We stand up and really begin to move continuing make curves in the air, swinging, letting the leaves lead us to turn around, up and down.  We´ve practised how to drop the leaves and how to "fall" ourselves down to floor after the leaves.  You can only imagine what kind of a movement spectacle  has been going on, when the leaves have fallen and the children have fallen and the adults have fallen  from high up to the floor -  "Nobody believes this without seeing with their own eys" I have thought in my mind when seeing this wonderful sight in front of me.

Falling autumn leaves-dance is creative dance at its best, suitable both children and adults, and the topic is present all around if you just take a look outside.  One mother told me "At the dance lesson we dance with the leaves and continue dancing with them outside, sometimes jumping in a stack of leaves"
